Qualcomm testing its answer to Apple's M-series chips

https://ift.tt/sYxIQ7d Qualcomm has been desperate to bring an ARM-based chip for Windows PCs to compete with Apple's M-series chips. Earlier this year, the chipmaker announced a new brand, "Oryon," a lineup of new CPUs meant for more powerful devices, made by Nuvia, a team of ex-Apple chip designers Qualcomm acquired last year, who happened to work on the M-series chip.
