Amazon has asked some remote employees to relocate to its "main hub" offices in Seattle, New York, and San Francisco, as a part of its policy for employees to work from the office at least three days a week. Workers hired for remote positions and those relocated during the pandemic will be affected by this move. Amazon will provide relocation benefits, while exceptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis. The decisions on relocation will be at the department level. Earlier this year, Amazon CEO, Andy Jassy, announced the mandate of at least three days per week to be implemented from May 1.
