Microsoft-owned company LinkedIn is laying off 668 employees in an effort to streamline decision-making and improve efficiency. This is the second round of job cuts this year, following the layoff of 716 employees in May. The cuts will primarily affect roles in engineering and product management. LinkedIn's CEO and VP stated that the decisions were made with the long-term needs of the business in mind and expressed support for the affected employees during this transition.
